Bath is situated in the South West of England, with good links to all major cities by car or public transport. Please be aware that Bath city centre is always very busy with traffic and its volume of visitors. Always allow plenty of time to travel to events, particularly minibus and walking tours as these leave promptly and are not accessible to latecomers.

Travelling by Car
Bath is easy to get to by car, via the A46 from Junction 18 of the M4. (London, Bristol, Birmingham)
The city centre has many car parks, Charlotte Street Car Park is closest to the upper and central parts of the city, and the Jane Austen Centre. Avon Street car park is best for the Mission Theatre and Southgate underground Car Park for the shopping area.

By Rail – Bath Spa is the train station for Bath, situated at the bottom of town by Southgate Shopping centre.
By Bus – Bath Bus station is served by local buses
